A cutting start to the New Year...

Before...

After much deliberation I have had my hair cut - I think the final straw has been the hot weather - that, and the fact that I got it caught in the car door...I love my long hair - but just lately I have had enough of it - so this morning it went...

Wow. What did you do with it all? Not just swept out into the hairdresser's dustbin, surely? What does it feel like? How long is it since you had it cut? Are you happy with it?

Did you save the off cuts to use in an Art quilt??

SHARON!!!! You did it! Well, from the back it looks great. Dying to see the front view! Would you believe, the day before you had yours cut, I also had mine trimmed of about four inches. Ken had made a comment the night before along the lines of "when are you going to get your hair cut? It's looked scruffy for the last six months". (Happy anniversary, darling...)

Looks lovely - and it's still a nice longish length for you :)

Calidore - thankyou -although I think the photo makes it look better than it really is... Apart from some grey at the front all natural colour

the eagle's child - yep, left it all at the hairdressers - she asked if I wanted to keep it and I replied not really that I could grow more... I have had it long for about 5 years - really long ( as in photo) for about 3. Yes I am happy with it as in it feels lighter, less to care for and definitely I won't get it caught in the car door again...

maureen - now why did I know you were going to say that!!!

gina e - that's blokes for you!!!!
I have had a very light fringe cut so quite different from what you know me...

annes - I can still put it up at a pinch but I have worn it tied up in a pony tail or in a bun type thingo for ages so it will be good just to leave it down...
