Christmas cooking...

I am running very late this year with making my Christmas puddings - but here is the very beginnings of them - fruit soaked in brandy overnight... As I type, one is in the crockpot slow cooking for 18 hours the other smaller pudding steaming away in the saucepan on the stove.
I love Christmas pudding but because it is so rich I cannot eat too much. I always have a serving on Christmas Day but save my second helping for Boxing Day when all the stress of Christmas Day is over and I can kick back and relax and with my new Christmas book.. Heaven!!!
I am feeling quite chuffed as I have all but one present left to buy and a third of them are already wrapped...

Your pudding sounds yummy.
I'm pretty much sorted, just one small item left to buy, everything else wrapped and under the tree. Just a little bit of baking to do tomorrow.
Anyway, just wanted to say HI, and to wish you a very merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.
Take care, Meow

Hi Sharon,
Would you like to do a small swap of Xmas pudding (or cake if you made one) for my Xmas cake? I put out feelers for this a while ago, but nobody took it up. Thank you for your comments about the Indian; dying to show it to you in all its glory! Ken left a message on your phone to thank you for the birthday card and Lotto ticket - that was such a lovely surprise! He loved the card of course...

Just dropping by to wish you all the very very best Christmas. I miss having you in the same city ... but I'll soon have my 'own space' again, so it'd be wonderful if you could come up for a visit :D Look forward to keeping in touch next year :D Lots of love and huge {{hugs}}, Anne xxx

Hmmm pudding. This is the first year that we didn't have a christmas pudding ;(

I did bake cake though.

Sharon - would you please email me as I can't find your email address anywhere :)

Perhaps we can arrange a combined visit to Anne :) Ha ha ha!
