A couple of posts ago I posted a postcard with an illustration done by Thea Proctor - E bought the card for me as she knows I really like woodcuts.
Last week she came home with a wonderful surprise for me - a book about Thea Proctor. Oh and what a wonderful book it is... I ooohhed and aaahhhed all the way through it...
It is the type of book that as I flipped my way through it made me wanted to open up my sketch book and find my pencils... I just loved this sketch as it reminds me so much of our Edith.
If only there was more time in the day to do the things I would like to do...
Ok I'm off for a day with my family at the Z00...
